"Chad, on that first morning, the weather wasn't very good. Opening day started off with rain that turned to snow but it all cleared up that afternoon. The wind came up and it helped dry out some of the roads.

As for the goat, I dropped him on opening day, Oct. 1, 2004, with one round from my 30-06 with a 150gr. Hornady SST at 175 yards. He wasn't huge body-wise at about 80 lbs. field dressed. And each horn measuring 13 1/2" with a spread of 13 3/4". I saw a lot of those Turbo Goats running around. There were a few single goats but most were in herds of 6 to about 30. Plus whole bunch of Mule Deer, mainly does, mixed in with the antelope.
