Pennsylvania
2nd ANNUAL PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED ARCHERS HUNT

Hunt #1 - It might still be wintertime outside, but plans are already underway for the 2009-2010 archery season. Our goal is to provide even more opportunities for disabled archers to experience the up close and personal, heart pounding, adrenalin pumping in-your-face thrill of the chase!

This year we will expand from 6 hunts last year to 11 hunts. The biggest difference is that instead of doing six hunts on six Saturdays, we will be doing 3 different hunts at 3 different locations on the same day. Specific hunt locations will be disclosed once participants are chosen.

- Round One: September 26th will see the first three hunts, locations will be disclosed to the winning participants (antlerless deer only).

- Round Two: October 10th will be the date for the next three hunts (antlered or antlerless deer).

- Round Three: October 24th will be the date for these three hunts (antlered or antlerless deer).

Þ-Grand Prize: On October 11th, two lucky hunters will participate in an all-expense paid Sunday hunt on a 300-acre Ohio farm, complete with food plots. This hunt is made possible by Ken Snarey, with WMA picking up the license fees.

WMA will also provide a field lunch for all hunters, and crossbows will be available for the hunters to use.

Just as he did last year, KIPS processing in Carnegie will provide a special rate for any deer processing that the disabled hunters want.

Hunt #3 - Raystown Lake Annual Chris Bowser Wheelin' Sportsman (Central PA)

It is that time of year again to start planning for the annual deer hunt for disabled hunters at Raystown Lake. Last year was again a success and we are looking foward to another great hunt on December. The last two years we harvested 17 and 21 deer, respectively, with nearly 100 shots fired.. Great hot lunches and gifts for hunters and volunteers plus raffle prizes. Over 30 hunters and 140 people attended last year. Please let me know of any disabled hunters who wish to participate and we will put them on the list for consideration. Also, we're looking for volunteers and sponsors as well as donations.

Thanks,
