Hunt #1 - Annual Fort Custer Training Center Freedom Hunt for disabled veterans -

You must be one of the following to be eligible to hunt:
1) Veteran with a 100% disability or deemed individually unemployable by the USVA
2) Posses a permit from the Michigan DNR to hunt from a standing vehicle
3) Considered by the State of Michigan to be Legally Blind

Fort Custer Training Center in Battle Creek will be hosting a two day gun hunt (October 17 and 18) for
whitetail deer for disabled individuals. Hunters must apply for this hunt by filling out the application
below and sending it along with proof of eligibility (copy of letter from USVA showing 100% disability or
individually unemployable, photocopy of MDNR permit to hunt from a standing vehicle, paperwork from the State of Michigan proving hunters status as Legally Blind) to:

Applications will be given a point value depending on how the questions below are answered. The applications with the 35 highest point totals will be invited to participate in the Fort Custer Training Center Freedom Hunt. If any of those 35 hunters can not accept the invitation, the next highest score will be eligible.
